Lemosho, Uhuru Peak and the wildlife of Tarangire.
The Lemosho Route on Kilimanjaro is highly demanding because of altitude, yet low in technical difficulty. Its gradual progression crosses montane forest, moorland, Alpine desert and glaciers, distributing the effort to support strong acclimatization before the night ascent to Uhuru Peak.

Materuni and Chagga culture
Waterfalls, coffee experience and final review before the mountain.

Lemosho Glades · Big Tree
The ascent begins through montane forest to the first camp.
- Day 4
Big Tree · Shira 1
Climb onto Shira Plateau and camp around 3,510 meters.
- Day 5
Shira 1 · Shira 2
A gradual acclimatization hike across the plateau.
- Day 6
Lava Tower · Barranco
Acclimatization ascent followed by descent into Barranco Valley.
- Day 7
Barranco · Karanga
Cross the Barranco Wall and see the first glaciers.
- Day 8
Karanga · Barafu
Climb through Alpine desert to summit base camp.
- Day 9
Uhuru Peak · Millennium
Night summit ascent followed by the long descent to Millennium Camp.

Millennium · Mweka Gate
Final descent, summit certificate and transfer back to the hotel.
